PHI MICROBLADING
Phi Brows is a semi-permanent brow technique for the treatment of sparse or missing eyebrows.
Phi Microblading is more of an art form than regular semi-permanent eyebrow treatments and requires:
-
Knowledge and application of a technique that relies on the golden ratio of the face.
-
Precise and accurate measurement of each individual's unique facial proportions.
-
More intensive training compared to regular semi-permanent makeup application.
-
A superior understanding of semi-permanent makeup and its application.
-
Injecting the skin with a semi permanent pigment using a needle and is therefore an invasive treatment.
About
Phi Microblading is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing, where the shape of the eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and the golden proportion (Phi 1.618). The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18 (persons under 18 must be accompanied by their parents) who wants to correct aesthetic problems with their eyebrows.
Pigment is applied manually to the surface layer of the dermis. The pigment is determined based on the natural color of the eyebrows and hair. After healing, the pigment may become several shades lighter compared to the natural hair color.
-
Symmetry is calculated using the Phi Brows application while the client's eyes are closed, ensuring relaxed mimetic muscles that could otherwise affect eyebrow symmetry.
-
Strokes are always drawn in the natural direction of hair growth to achieve a hyper-realistic eyebrow look.
-
The treatment is performed using sterile, disposable tools, and only the highest-standard pigments are supplied by the academy to qualified practitioners.
-
A correction or "top-up" is required one month after the treatment, as 10-15% of strokes are typically lost after the first session.
-
The inserted pigment appears very dark for the first 5 to 7 days, losing up to 40% of its intensity after 7 days.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Frequently asked questions
WHO WILL DO MY TREATMENT?
The treatment for Phi Brows will always be performed by our Phi Brows fully trained and qualified practitioner. At WOW, our ethos is always to provide qualified and experienced therapists to ensure the highest standard of care and optimal results for all our treatments.
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
The area to be treated is always numbed using anaesthetic cream. Pain during the treatment is relative. Most clients compare the pain with the one that they feel when plucking out their eyebrows.
HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?
Allow around 2 ½ hours typically.
WHAT SHOULD I AVOID PRE AND POST TREATMENT?
Adherence to pre and post-treatment advice is most important to ensure successful results. Your Phi Brows specialist will advise you on all treatment protocols during the consultation.
-
Before each treatment, the skin should not be burnt, nor in a recovery or regeneration process.
-
Abrasive treatments such as peelings, fruit acids, chemical peels, laser treatments, and similar should be avoided a month before the treatment.
-
No excessive sweating or saunas for at least 30 days after the treatment.
IS A TOP UP NECESSARY?
A top-up is very important to achieve the desired and prolonged results.
-
Correction or a ‘top-up’ is required one month after the treatment as 10-15% of strokes are lost after the first treatment.
-
Inserted pigment is very dark during the first 5 to 7 days. 7 days later, it loses up to 40% of its intensity.
-
Optimum results may not be achieved if the top-up is skipped. This will all be explained in your consultation with your Phi Brows specialist.
