After care
To get the most out of your facial and keep your skin glowing:

Avoid makeup for 24 hours to let your skin breathe and absorb all the benefits of the treatment.

Skip exfoliation for 3–5 days — your skin has already been deeply cleansed and exfoliated during the facial.

Stay out of the sun and use a minimum of SPF 30+ daily to protect your fresh skin both indoors and outdoors.

Avoid heat treatments like saunas, steam rooms, or hot showers for 24 hours.

Stick to gentle skincare — avoid strong actives like retinol, AHA/BHA, or acne treatments unless advised otherwise by your therapist or doctor.

Hydrate well! Drink plenty of water to support your skin’s healing and glow.
Frequently asked questions
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A DERMALOGICA FACIAL?
For best results, we recommend a facial every 4–6 weeks. However, this may vary depending on your skin goals and condition — your therapist will guide you on the right schedule.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
There’s minimal to no downtime. Some people may experience slight redness immediately after the facial, especially if extractions were done, but this usually settles within a few hours.
CAN I WEAR MAKEUP AFTER MY FACIAL?
We recommend avoiding makeup for at least 24 hours to allow your skin to fully absorb the benefits of the treatment.
