After care

Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours to prevent the filler from shifting or affecting the final results.
Refrain from heat exposure such as saunas, hot showers, or sunbathing for at least 48 hours to minimize the risk of swelling or bruising.
Limit strenuous exercise for the first 48 hours post-treatment, as increased blood flow can contribute to swelling or bruising.
Apply a cold compress (wrapped in a cloth) to the treated area for 10-15 minutes every few hours to help reduce swelling.

WHAT BRAND OF FILLER DO YOU USE?

We use only the highest quality products from Restylane, Teosyal, and Juvederm Vycross ranges. We will discuss which product is most suitable at the consultation beforehand.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE TREATMENT TO WORK?

The results are immediate, however, the filler takes 2 weeks to fully integrate into the skin, after which the final result can be seen.

WHICH AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH DERMAL FILLER?

Generally, any area of the face can be enhanced with dermal filler. The most common areas are:

HOW LONG DO THE EFFECTS LAST?

The results of the treatment are not permanent, as your body will gradually break down the filler over time. The longevity of the effects depends on the product used and the area treated:

Face: Effects generally last between 9-24 months.

WILL I FEEL PAIN?

The pain felt is minimal. Topical numbing cream can be applied before the procedure, and the products themselves contain local anaesthesia. During lip augmentation, a full dental block can be performed to completely numb the area.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The appointment will take around 45 minutes.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME OR SIDE EFFECTS?

Dermal fillers are a minimally invasive treatment with little to no downtime. However, some common side effects may occur, including:

Bruising
Redness
Tenderness
Lumpiness
Swelling

These side effects are usually mild and typically resolve within 2 weeks. To minimize these effects, we use a cannula whenever possible.
